BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
To secure a date for special occasions, photo-shoots or weddings, a contract is required with an applicable booking fee before the booking is confirmed. The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a confirmation is sent and the booking fee(s) received.
Sometimes Belinda will hire an assistant to help with large group bookings or where there are time restraints. The cost of 1x assistant is included in the Bridal Package, however for extra large groups where a second assistant may be required, this is an additional charge of $150.
A start and end time will be agreed by client and Belinda Masri Makeup. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished, the usual timeframe is approximately 1 hour per person. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside contract will only be performed at the discretion of the makeup artist. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive times (no gaps in between).
Early morning fees: A $50 fee per hour will be charged for booked appointment times before 5:00am
You will be provided with the services of 1 of Belinda's makeup artists if Belinda cannot personally provide you with services for your event. Belinda's (Makeup Artist) obligation to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability of the Belinda as a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control.
Makeup will be completed to client's satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup upon booking. Acceptance of completed makeup application by client is acknowledgement by client that makeup is done to his/her satisfaction.
Belinda Masri Makeup reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist/s arrives for the appointment. If the makeup artist cancels at any time or be unable to perform her duties for any reason and not be able to find a replacement makeup artist, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two weeks. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to Belinda Masri Makeup and any and all of its owners, employees and agents.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup. A “set up” table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use by makeup artist. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A high chair or bar stool is requested but not necessary. Please let Belinda Masri Makeup know if a chair cannot be provided.
Belinda Masri Makeup will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location. Remember to wear a button down shirt so you don't mess up your style while getting dressed.
A fee will be charged for locations out out salon & this is included in your chosen package (within Sydney). For travel outside of greater Sydney, the amount will be determined at time of inquiry; this may be done through the use of Google maps.
AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATION
All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation and parking.
All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Belinda Masri Makeup by Belinda Masri from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. If you or your bridal party are suffering from any type of contagious illness including, but not limited to, conjunctivitis, eye styes/cysts, cold sores, open wounds/cuts on the face and neck, staph infection, head lice, or a flu or other contagious illness, I need to be informed as a matter of urgency and reserve the right to refuse service of any infectious person. This is a precaution taken in order to ensure non-contamination of my kit and brushes, despite the fact all items are sanitised between clients.
PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE COPYRIGHT
It is imperative that we continue to update our portfolio and demonstrate our work to future prospective brides. Please let us know in advance by written email if you do not wish to be photographed or if you are not happy for us to use your images for social media purposes, all staff will be notified. We are happy to be photographed on your wedding day however, any photo image incorporating our team in action, our make-up design, on the internet or on any other advertisement, must make reference or credit us as the hair and/or makeup artists.
Your privacy is taken very seriously. Your personal information will never be used for any purpose other than processing your booking and conducting our service with you. Further, your information will not intentionally be passed on to a third party under any circumstances.
The final balance is due on the day. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are CASH or BANK TRANSFER
